We’re a hobby club for people of all ages and experiences that enjoy getting together and exploring the wonders & treasures of the Earth, including the lapidary arts!
Want to get more out of your Club experience?
Whether you're new member or with the club for years, there’s opportunities to enjoy a more active role with the club, meet people, and make a difference in the community.
Our Lapidary Certificate gives you skills to cut and polish your rocks, PLUS access to the lapidary shop & equipment (Saturdays 1-4) for all your creative gemstone ventures.

GMSS is a 501(c)(3) Public, non profit organization.
Our monthly meetings provide a lively social and educational experience. It's a great time to get together and have fun, find new opportunities, and enjoy presentations on adventurous topics by members and experts sharing their field of interest. Stay for our raffles or auctions and pick up a tool or a new specimen. We also have a Junior Rockhounds club for kids!
