Our Lapidary Course & Certification gives you skills to cut and polish your rocks, PLUS access to the lapidary shop & equipment (Saturdays 1-4) for all your creative gemstone ventures.

We‘re a club for people who enjoy interests in Mineralogy, Paleontology, Earth Sciences and the Lapidary Arts in Central New York!
Our interests include:
GMSS is a 501(c)(3) Public, non profit organization.
Our monthly meetings provide a lively social and educational experience. It's a great time to get together and have fun, find new opportunities, and enjoy presentations on adventurous topics by members and experts sharing their field of interest. Stay for our raffles or auctions and pick up a tool or a new specimen. We also have a Junior Rockhounds club for kids!
