Youthgroup will explore fossils donated to the club and discover how these ancient creatures become rocks over time. Have a child interested in hunting for rocks and fossils? Sign them up!

Dave “The Rock Doc” Millis will talk about the diversity of geodes and explain how they were created by nature. Each member who attends will receive half a thunder egg from Mexico!

GMSS is a 501(c)(3) Public, non profit organization.
Our monthly meetings provide a lively social and educational experience. It's a great time to get together and have fun, find new opportunities, and enjoy presentations on adventurous topics by members and experts sharing their field of interest. Stay for our raffles or auctions and pick up a tool or a new specimen. We also have a Junior Rockhounds club for kids!
